Alister Smith - Director. 
'Project: Hysteria' for the Poppy Seed Festival.
​'As We Come To Wake' workshop at the National Celtic Festival.

Alister has worked as a director, choreographer, producer and writer across a board stream of artistic disciplines. This year he was nominated for a Green Room Award for ‘Best Direction of a Musical – ‘Pacific Overtures’ for Watch This Theatre Company & Manila Street Productions. His creative highlights include: Roxie Hart for The VCA, URINETOWN! Alister is the founder and Artistic Director of Redroom Theatre Company, a Melbourne based production house of new theatre (est. 2005). Alister works extensively with performing arts students within the university sector working with Federation University (formally The Arts Academy) The Victorian College of the Arts and The National Theatre Drama School.

​Annie Last - Actor.

Annie's recent Australian stage credits include The Unspoken Word is Joe (Dir: Declan Greene, MKA theatre/Griffin 2012 & 2015), David Williamson's Managing Carmen and When Dad Married Fury (national tours 2013 - 2014), The Horror Face (dir: Felix Ching Ching Ho, MKA Theatre 2011) and Shakespeare' s Othello (dir: Peter King, 2010). Developments include The Master and Margarita (Daniel Schlusser Ensemble 2010).  New York credits include Agamemnon for the World Wide Lab ex-Lincoln Centre Directors Program (2012). Berlin credits include Cinders and Erase The Day We Met (The English Theatre Berlin 2012). As Producer and Director, credits include the MKA: Melbourne/Berlin Festival of New Australian Plays (2012) and  Ruth Katarelos' Woman With A Tomahawk (2015). Annie has also performed in video work by Philip Brophy, Emile Zile and Yandell Walton (2010 – 2014). She is also a voiceover artist and vocal coach.

​Edward is a 2014 graduate of the National Theatre Drama School, where he was the recipient of the Cybec Scholarship awarded to a Third Year actor. Recent credits include Jurassica (Red Stitch Actors Theatre), As You Like It (Arden Productions), Remember Me (Innatum Theatre) and Pride and Prejudice (SOOT Productions). He will be appearing in the feature film About An Age due for release in 2016.

Jessica Redmayne - Actor.
'Laura' in 'Project: Hysteria'.

​Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre from the University of Ballarat in 2013. Her credits there include Sing Happy (Roxie Hart); A Little Touch of Chaos (Ensemble/Artist Trio); Parade (Monteen) and 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer).  Jessica went on to co-write and perform her Cabaret Who's Laughing Now Wankers? at the Butterfly Club, in the Ballarat Cabaret Festival and The Short + Sweet Cabaret Festival. Since graduating she has performed in numerous international tours for Nickelodeon and Mattel. This is Jessica’s debut in the Melbourne theatre scene and is honored to be a part of Project: Hysteria.

Chloe Greaves - Costume Designer.

Some of Chloe’s more recent costume designs included The Bacchae (Fraught outfit  Melbourne festival), The Grumpiest Boy in the World (Victorian Opera), They Saw A Thylacine Malthouse Theatre, The Waiting Room (MTC), Blak Cabaret (Sydney Festival/Malthouse theatre), The Magic Pudding (Victorian Opera), On the Bodily Education (Fraught Outfit - MTC Neon), Le Donna Curiose (The Juliard School, New York), Macbeth and A Midsummer Nights Dream (Essential Theatre), and Pacific Overtures  (Watch This Productions). Chloe also works in film and television, and has designed music videos for artists including Guy Sebastian, San Cisco, Montaigne and Alison Wonderland. Chloe received the 2014 independent theatre Green Room award design for her body of work and has been nominated for four others previously.

Daniel Chapman – Lighting Designer.
'Project: Hysteria'.

Daniel has been involved in theatre for over 20 years.  He first became involved in theatre at school, where he worked with the backstage crew on the annual musical.  Since then, he has gone on to work with many amateur companies, primarily Babirra Theatre Company, as well as going back each year to fly for his annual school production. Daniel has had many roles including lighting designer, sound designer and operator, set construction, flyman, production manager and stage manager.  He has also worked on events such as the Grand Prix and events with Melbourne Opera.  Daniel is excited to be the lighting designer for Project: Hysteria, continuing his collaboration with Alister after lighting Himmelweg and The Threepenny Opera for Redroom Theatre Company.

Elizabeth Verber – Stage Manager.

Liz graduated from the University of Ballarat: Arts Academy, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts: Theatre Production, specialising in stage and production management.  After a decade of working in theatre both nationally and in Regional Victoria, Liz’s live stage events experience led to the world of corporate communication.  After working as a stage manager at major events for corporate clients such as Toyota Australia, she joined George P. Johnson in the role of Production Coordinator.  Liz gained further experience in the delivery of high level events through her work with SOTA Creative in her role of Associate Producer.  Liz has freelanced with companies such as Redroom Theatre Company and Short+Sweet; and she has toured with various companies such as Life Like Touring, Live Nation and Bell Shakespeare.

Alice Darling - Director.

In 2013 Alice completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Performance Creation – Directing at the Victorian College of the Arts, and in 2014 received the inaugural Graduate Director position at Red Stitch Actors Theatre. Alice’s directing credits include: Tuesday by Louris van de Geer (VCA), The Last Time I Saw Richard by Cat Commander (VCA), I want you but I don’t need you by Fleur Kilpatrick (PlayList - Red Stitch) Like a Fishbone by Anthony Weigh (MKA Hyprtxt Festival), You Took the Stars by Cat Commander (Melbourne Fringe Festival 2014) and Killer Joe by Tracy Letts (Blackwater Productions). Alice also has a background in acting for stage and screen. In 2007 Alice completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts – Drama (Honours) from Flinders University and in 2012 studied acting at the Howard Fine Studio in Los Angeles.

James completed a Bachelor of Production at the Victorian College of the Arts. Since graduating he works as a Freelance Lighting Designer and Technician. James’ recent credits include; FLIGHT, Festival of New Writing, Theatre Works (Production Coordinator): NEON, MTC (Lighting Programmer); Marlin, Arena Theatre Co (Stage Management); The Village @ Falls Music and Arts Festival (Production Management); Like A Fishbone, Man With A Plan/MKA (Light Design), Unsex Me, MKA (Light Design); Spring Awakening, Federation University Arts Academy (Light Design); Fly By Night (Development #2 & 3), Melinda Hetzel and Co (Stage Management & Light Design); Midsummer @ Theatre Works (Stage Management); Der Ring des Nibelung (The Ring Cycle), Opera Australia (Lighting Design Assistant); Stuck Pigs Squealing (Stage Management); Into The Woods, Leibler Yavneh College (Associate Lighting Design); In the Next Room (The Vibrator Play), FWL Theatre (Co Lighting Design); Together as One, Jonathan Homsey’s Faure Experiment (Lighting Design). Justin Ashworth - Sound Design.

​Justin is a sound artist and composer working in the fields of ensemble performance music, contemporary dance, theatre, and film. Recent collaborative projects have included
On View (dance/film, Sue Healy choreography director, 2015); Sea Shake (live audiovisual performance, TAM Projects, 2014); Red Black and Ignorant (VCA theatre, Liz Ardy Director 2013); Two Worlds (live concert music, Arcko Symphonic ensemble, 2013). Justin also works as audio producer and has remixed groups and artists including Sleepmakeswaves, Rat Vs Possum, and Jennifer Kingwell. Justin's personal body of work exists as ensemble music under the moniker Glasfrosch, a band with which he has produced and released 3 full length albums. Justin completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (RMIT) in 2014, and is an artist in residence at HEIMA Creative (Seyðisfjörður, Iceland) from October- December 2015.

Cora Brown - Musician / Singer.
'As We Come To Wake' workshop at the National Celtic Festival.

Cora is an accomplished singer songwriter and performer. She has been performing professionally at festivals, folk clubs and venues around Australia since 2004 under her own name and as a member of ensembles including Melbourne Singers of Gospel, Brophy, McDonald and Browne and Vince Brophy and Cora Browne. Festival Highlights include performing at The National Celtic Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, The Speigeltent Melbourne, Immigration Museum Melbourne and the Tamar Valley Folk Festival to name a few.
Playing guitar and bodhran (Irish traditional drum) Cora writes and performs her own material including many songs and an historical narrative with music “From Famine to Feast” with writing partner Vince Brophy. This show debuted at The Turning Wave Festival in 2009 and has had several showings including Comhaltas Melbourne, The Celtic Club Melbourne and in Georgetown Tasmania.
Recently Cora has tread the boards as part of two ensemble casts bringing the works of Melbourne playwright and composer Felix Meagher to many venues throughout Victoria and southern NSW; playing Ned Kelly’s mother, Ellen, in Meagher’s work Barry vs Kelly and Banjo Patterson’s jilted fiancé, Sarah Riley, in The Man They Call The Banjo.  While in the latter role Cora met and bonded with Fleur Murphy and Chris Saxton, members of Melbourne’s TBC Theatre. She’s very excited to be working with TBC members in the development of Fleur's latest work As We Come To Wake which promises to be a feast of exquisite story telling and haunting music.

Bekki Adams - Design Assistant.
'Made in China'

Acting credits include The Mikado (Essgee Productions), Nine, Working and Sweet Charity (University of  Ballarat Arts Academy) and most recently, the national and international tours of Peppa Pig Live! Treasure Hunt (Life Like Touring) which she also resident directed. She has written several pieces, including Red – A Choose Your Own Adventure Musical (Underground Productions) and a series of plays and shorts films commissioned by the Redland Council, entitled Pandamonium, which she also directed and produced.  TBC’s Made in China is Bekki’s second foray into design after Pandamonium and she is very excited to be working with TBC. 




Glenn Trembath - Lighting Designer.
'Made In China'.

Glenn has worked as a lighting operator and designer on a number of productions at various venues around Melbourne ­‐ most of them long enough ago that they are not even mentioned on the magic of 'the internets', and one of them just a few months ago with TBC (Love Play).  He has also worked on a production at the Old Magistrate's Court as well as TBC Theatre's productions of Loveplay, Shadows of Angels... and now Made In China.
